FRAGLINE: Esports Manager has left Early Access.

HARB Studios, which develops and publishes the game, posted the 1.0 announcement on Steam at 4am AEDT on Monday 2 November, by our conversion.

The game is a management sim about running an esports organisation. Its store page says you “build an esports org from a scrappy roster into a world champion”, and that rounds are played out by a tactical AI rather than decided by a dice roll.

The Australian Steam store lists it at A$25.75, for Windows.

The announcement is written in the first person by the developer, who works alone. On what 1.0 means, the post reads:

“I believe FRAGLINE: Esports Manager has now become a more stable, deeper, and more fun management game that appeals to a wider audience. There may be a bit of a learning curve when you first start the game, but I’m confident you’ll get the hang of its logic and mechanics over time. As a solo developer, I tried to make this update as stable as possible while keeping old saves compatible.”

Old saves carry over. The developer recommends a new save but says an existing one can still be used, and that demo saves also move to 1.0.

Updates will continue after launch. The same post says they “will mostly focus on the in-match AI and the Draft Run game mode”, and that the developer considers the career mode’s feel and variety to be already at a solid level.

The developer also says AI fixes will arrive “over the next few days without breaking your saves”, alongside silent patches for bugs.

Feedback goes to the game’s Discord server or to Steam reviews. The post asks for reviews “positive or negative”.
