Fancy solving a murder with a dog as your partner? Then the Finch & Archie booth at PAX Aus is where you want to be this weekend!
Finch & Archie is an episodic co-op noir mystery from Octarine Arts, and it’s one of this year’s Aus Indie Showcase winners. One of you plays detective Jack Finch and the other plays his police dog Archie, finding evidence and questioning suspects in a story set in the Great Depression (and yes, the dog is the one with the nose).
The team says it has everyone coming down for the show. Its latest dev diary promises pins, merch and a sneak peek at what’s next, plus a little detective game that sends you round PAX “to find our other friends from Perth”, with a chance to win some merch!
What’s next is Episode Two, “Last but not Leashed”, set at a run-down greyhound track, and the studio says it’s nearly ready. We’re told a Simplified Chinese translation is on the way too.

Can’t get to Melbourne? Episode One, “A Shot in the Bark”, is already out in Early Access on Steam, and it’s 15% off right now at A$15.08 until 11 October.
