Steam Page Lists A$74.95 Standard And A$89.95 Digital Deluxe Editions
Final Fantasy Resonance is due to unlock on Steam at 3am AEDT on Friday 23 October. That is our conversion of the release time Steam’s store page carries, which is 16:00 UTC on 22 October.
The page itself gives the release date as “22 Oct, 2026”. When we checked at about 1pm AEDT on 22 October, it said the game “plans to unlock in approximately 14 hours”.
Steam’s Australian listing puts the standard game at A$74.95. The Digital Deluxe Edition is A$89.95 and adds the Magitek & Grimoire Deluxe Pack.
The page still sells the game as a pre-purchase. The pre-order bonus is a Magitek Airship & Squire Starter Pack, which the page says is “not available to customers who purchase the product after release.”

A second bonus, the Squire Kickstart Pack, goes to anyone who buys by 6 November. The page gives the cut-off as “November 6, 2026, at 8:59 a.m. (PT)” and lists a Blessed Cuirass and a Mist Ether in the pack.
A free demo sits on the same page. It says saved data “carries over to the full game”, and that players can explore the whole first chapter, although “some level restrictions apply”.
Steam credits Square Enix and LANCARSE Ltd. as developers, with Square Enix as publisher. The store description calls it “the first FINAL FANTASY to join the HD‑2D lineup”.

Steam’s tags include turn-based combat and party-based RPG. The system requirements on the page name Windows 11, and the page lists eight supported languages.
The game sat fifth on Steam’s Australian top sellers list when we read it on 22 October. The page showed no user reviews yet.
