EA Sports FC 27 goes on general sale on Friday 25 September. Ultimate Edition owners have been playing since last Friday; everyone else gets in at the end of the week.
If you are buying a boxed copy, where you shop matters more than usual. The gap between the cheapest and dearest Australian retailer on the PS5 version is almost $25.

Prices were current on 23 September and can move before launch. Buying boxed means you cannot stack the EA Play member discount or the returning-player discount EA offers on digital Ultimate Edition purchases.
What you will actually notice
The Grounds. A social playground where you drop into kickabouts, 1v1s and Clubs. Mentors guide you around it, including Kylian Mbappé, Chloe Kelly, Paulo Dybala and the return of Alex Hunter from The Journey. Ted Lasso’s AFC Richmond is back too, now with its women’s team. The Grounds and Clubs are only on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Switch 2.
Manager Career transfers. The transfer market has been rebuilt, with more realistic player values, active bidding from rival clubs, and new performance-based and buy-back clauses. Player ratings now move through the season based on form, morale and fitness.
Gameplay. Dynamic corners, smarter attacking runs and player-focused defending aimed at competitive play.
PC. Shorter start-up times, new Performance and Balanced presets, a VRAM usage meter and redesigned keyboard controls with WASD and arrow-key layouts.
If you just want to try it, EA Play members get a 10-hour trial, and progress carries over if you buy.
