Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is ten years old, and Bandai Namco is marking it with a free update and a limited-time event — the Final Festival of Universes — that pays out rewards in the sequel.
The publisher’s anniversary post, dated 25 October, says the free update arrives on 27 October. It brings new Login Bonus Rewards, Special Costumes and an update to the Gallery of Time, which is unlocked by buying the FUTURE SAGA Chapter 4 DLC. The Final Festival of Universes starts on 30 October. The post gives no times and no end date for either.
During the festival, it says, “hard-to-find items will return, along with some special items that can unlock rewards for the upcoming DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3.”
Players can raise their camaraderie level with Trunks, the Supreme Kai of Time or Fu, which unlocks special illustrations. Star Coins come in at 25 times the usual rate, so they are easier to exchange for rewards. Taking part can also grant a new Gi and a commemorative medal.

Either item unlocks special items in Xenoverse 3 — which the post says arrives in 2027 — once you link your Bandai Namco ID. The post does not say which items, or what each item unlocks, and points to the Xenoverse 3 page for more.
On price, the Australian Steam page listed Xenoverse 2 at A$7.48 on 26 October, which was 75% off A$29.95. FUTURE SAGA Chapter 4 was A$13.46, 25% off A$17.95. Steam does not show when either discount ends.
The post lists the game on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
