Delta Force’s second-anniversary celebration starts on 26 September. Season Reorientation is already live, and it brings two new operators and a Warfare map built around Black Hawk Down.
If you have been playing Delta Force this week, you are already in the new season. Season Reorientation is live now, and Tencent says the second-anniversary celebration begins on 26 September.
The anniversary rewards come through daily tasks. Log in and clear them, and you can earn up to 3,900 limited-time Delta Tickets. There is also Golden State, a Legendary appearance for the AUG, along with a second-anniversary Charm and Badge.
The new operators work as a pair. Rover’s Dart Rifle can incapacitate an enemy or help an injured teammate recover. Clover searches the area and tracks nearby threats. Game director Shadow Guo told Xbox Wire that “Rover and Clover can create a rescue window, or help keep the squad from needing one.” The Xbox Wire piece also confirms that you can pet Clover.
Warfare players get The Mog. It is inspired by the setting of Black Hawk Down, and it follows a defecting Skynet engineer caught between G.T.I. and Haavk. If you prefer big combined-arms matches to extraction runs, that is the map to queue for this week.
Two years have gone quickly. Delta Force started on PC, reached mobile a few months later and arrived on Xbox Series X|S a little over a year ago. “Two years went faster than we expected,” Shadow says.
The competitive side is moving too. RISE Series Season 2 is underway, and the top two teams from each region go to the Delta Force Invitational at DreamHack Stockholm, from 27 to 29 November.
