Two free games landed on the Epic Games Store at 1am this morning, Australian eastern time, and we reckon you should grab both before you forget!
First up is Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles, a dice-deck-building roguelike where you pick one of six Oracles and fight through the ruins of a lost civilisation with an ever-changing deck of dice. It normally sells for A$34.99 on the Australian store.
The second is Mechabellum, a mech auto-battler where you draft your troops, customise your units and set your formations, then watch the armies fight it out. Epic’s own pitch is “All strategy, no clickfest.” (Which is good news for anyone whose clicking hand is past its prime.) It usually costs A$21.95.
That’s two paid games for the grand total of zero dollars, and we’re not going to argue with that!
You have until 1am AEST on Friday 2 October. After that, Epic’s next two freebies are System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster and Buried Stars, so there’s plenty more to come!
