The last three qualifying teams for the PGI (PUBG Global Invitational) have been announced. North America now joins the lineup of 20 international teams that will compete in Berlin later this month.
The PGI is the first major PUBG eSports tournament to be hosted by PUBG Corp. Boasting a massive $2 million prize pool, the event will take place from the 25th to the 29th of July. Players will be competing in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. Teams will compete in both First Person Perspective (FPP) and Third Person Perspective (TPP) for the $1 million prize in each. Over the four days of the tournament, there will be a total of 16 games. Four games will be played per day and the scores will be added up for each game. Points will be awarded for both rank placings and kills. Getting a chicken dinner is not the only way to get on top but the winner of each round will also get $10,000. The winning team will have the highest combined score at the end of the tournament.
The lineup of invited teams is now complete with the North Americans rounding out the top 20. Team Gates, Ghost Gaming and Honey Badger Nation will be joining the rest of the regions who have already been confirmed;
