The Horizon Case brings new Skins and 4 new Knives to CSGO

The newest case to add to the Counter-Strike collection was announced this week. The Horizon Case brings 17 new community made weapon skins as well as 4 new knife types.

These four new Knives include the Stiletto, Ursus, Navaja and the Talon. Each of these knives will be available in the new Horizon cases under the Rare Special Item.

Each of these knives can currently come in thirteen different skins. Getting one of these skins is determined by the random roll when opening a Horizon case with a key. The chance to get a knife from an unboxing is extremely rare. You can also buy skins other people have unboxed on the Steam marketplace. Currently, no variant of these new knives is listed for anything less than $120 USD so you’ll have to fork out the big bucks, as you would with any knife skin.

The rest of the Horizon case contains 17 community made weapon finishes for various weapons. There is a higher chance to receive the lower rarity items such as Mil-Spec Grade over rarer grade items. The Mil-Spec weapon skins include the AUG | Amber Slipstream, Duel Berettas | Shred, Glock-18 | Warhawk, MP9 | Capillary, P90 | Traction, R8 Revolver | Survivalist and Tec-9 | Snek-9. Moving up to the Restricted grade weapon skins are the C775-Auto | Eco, G3SG1 | High Seas, Nova | Toy Soldier, AWP | PAW and MP7 | Powercore. The M4A1-S | Nightmare, Sawed-off | Devourer and the FAMAS | Eye of Athena round out the Classified grade weapons. With the last two, most rare Covert grade weapon skins being the AK-47 | Neon Rider and the Desert Eagle | Code Red.

With the most recent update, the new Panorama User Interface (UI) has been permanently implemented. It is the first complete overall of the UI, HUD and Menu the game has seen in a long time. The update will also now mean players can receive a Horizon case in a random drop at the end of matches. To open the case, a key must be bought which are currently $2.60 USD. You can also buy the cases from the Steam Market which are, at the time of writing, approximately < $6 USD. As more of these cases drop in game, the price will also continue to drop. Similarly, the skins inside will continue to drop in price as more people unbox them and will level out eventually.
